A Different Kind of Green For St. Patty's Day

You may have noticed today that the world around you has turned into a green-washed frenzy. Is your drink of choice tinted with food coloring? Are Irish eyes smiling all around? Is your local St. Patty's Day parade tossing clover-shaped sunglasses into the crowd? While just about everything in sight will glow of an artificial green, there's still one place to find a natural grassy hue today: in a cup of green tea.

This green leaf doesn't have as much folklore attached to it as other St. Patty's traditions, but its potential benefits can be appreciated & used year-round. Whether it's St. Patrick's Day, Earth Day, or just Tuesday, consuming green tea is an easy way to boost your intake of health-supporting antioxidants (EGCG). And if you're not a fan of its liquid form, you can also get your polyphenol fix in the form of our Green Tea Mints & Green Tea Bars!

So tomorrow, after all the party hats are taken off & you've given up the futile search for a 4-leaf clover, feel free to trade in your shillelagh for some sencha. It might not ward off leprechauns, but then again, newly-discovered benefits continue to make headlines every week...
